FLINT - The Mott Community College baseball team walked off with a win in the finale of a doubleheader against Schoolcraft College to earn a split on Sunday at home.
After falling 11-1 in the opener, the Bears rallied in the bottom of the seventh in game two, with an RBI single from Max Charlton to tie the score followed by a sacrifice fly by Conner Egert to secure a 3-2 win.
The split moved Mott to 13-10 overall and 5-4 in the MCCAA.
Game One Highlights:

Egert had a pair of doubles to lead the Mott offense.

Gavin Balius was 1-for-3 with an RBI, driving home Luke Ellis.

Graham Sim was charged with the loss on the mound, pitching one inning for the Bears.
Game Two Highlights:

Balius finished with three hits and a run scored.

Charlton added two hits, including the game-tying RBI single in the seventh.

Quinn Shultz and Egert each added an RBI.

William Case started for the Bears, pitching five innings, allowing two runs, one earned, on two hits, walking two and striking out seven.

Cole Schmidt got the win on the mound, tossing two scoreless innings in relief. He walked one and struck out one.

The doubleheader with Rochester University on Monday has been canceled. The Bears will remain home to take on Kellogg Community College in a single 9-inning game starting at 3 pm on Tuesday.
