Mott wins 7th straight, tops Delta 12-2

UNIVERSITY CENTER, Mich. - The Mott Community College baseball team cruised to a win in six innings over Delta College in a single game on Tuesday in University Center, Mich. 

The Bears scored five in the third to take control and took the contest 12-2. The win is the seventh straight for Mott, which moved to 15-13 overall on the season. 

Game Highlights: 

  • Luke Dupuis was 3-for-3 with three RBIs, one run scored, and a walk. 

  • Benjamin Korson went 3-for-3 with an RBI, three steals, and two runs scored.

  • Tobias Ransley recorded three hits, two RBIs, and two runs scored.

  • Eagan Demers added a hit, three runs scored and a steal. 

  • Bryce Neitzel added two hits. 

  • John LaVallier (1-0) got the win on the mound, tossing three hitless innings, allowing one walk and striking out four.
