Hot shooting leads Mott in win at LCC
LANSING, Mich. - The Mott Community College men's basketball team avenged a loss from earlier this season against Lansing Community College on the road on Saturday.
The Bears led by three points with under four minutes to play and used a 13-4 run to put the Stars away for a 95-85 win. The victory moves Mott to 6-3 overall this season.

Kevin Tiggs Jr. led three Bears with at least 20 points in the win. He finished with 24 points on 10-of-16 shooting, adding 10 rebounds for a double-double.

Kimari Barden recorded 20 points on 9-of-11 shooting. He added 12 points and four blocks.

Teon Armstrong finished with 20 points, seven rebounds and five assists.

Kylen Clark added a double-double with 12 points and 10 assists.

Justin Mims finished with 11 points, five rebounds, and four assists.

The Bears shot 39-of-69, 8-of-16, and 9-of-17 from the line. Mott recorded 24 assists to just eight turnovers.

The Bears travel to Terra State Community College at 7:30 pm on Monday in Fremont, Ohio. Mott opened the season with a win over TSCC at home.
