FLINT - The Mott Community College softball teams earned a second straight sweep this week, taking two from Oakland Community College on Thursday in Flint.
The Bears shutout the Owls 8-0 in game one, ending the game with three runs in the sixth. Mott jumped out to a five run lead in the fourth inning of game two and held on for an 8-4 win. The sweep moved Mott to 14-5 overall and 7-1 in the MCCAA Eastern Conference.

Emma Benner had two hits, including a double, while adding three RBIs and a steal.

Maggie Boehm (6-3) got the win on the mound, tossing all six scoreless innings, allowing two hits, while walking two and striking out three.
