Dotson scores 24 in Mott win over Delta
FLINT - The Mott Community College women's basketball team welcomed Delta College for an early season matchup on Wednesday at the Ballenger Field House.
The Bears jumped out to a 21-point lead in the first half, but the Pioneers rallied to take the lead in the second half. Trailing by a bucket heading to the final frame, Mott outscored Delta 15-8 in the fourth led late by Ali Anderson and Kyndall Dotson.
Mott held on late to earn a 60-55 win to start the season 2-0.

Dotson led the Bears with 24 points, including 11-of-14 at the line. She added 10 rebounds for a double-double.

Aerie Lewis recorded 11 points and nine rebounds.

Ali Anderson finished with nine points and a team-high 12 rebounds.

Ella Prevost added eight points, while Anna Prevost recorded four points and six rebounds.

The Bears shot 20-of-56 from the field, 1-of-13 from deep, and 19-of-28 at the line.
