Bears win third straight, top Lumberjacks 61-41
FLINT - The Mott Community College women's basketball team earned a third straight win, rolling to a victory over Alpena Community College on day two of the Roundball Classic on Saturday at the Ballenger Fieldhouse.
The Bears took control in the third quarter, led by a game-high in points from Arie Lewis. Mott cruised to a 61-41 win to move to 8-4 overall this season.

Lewis led all scorers with 21 points including three 3-pointers, while adding eight rebounds, four assists, and two steals.

Ella Prevost scored 11 points, adding seven rebounds and four steals.

Anna Prevost finished with 11 points, three 3-pointers, and four steals.

Ali Anderson narrowly missed a double-double with nine points and a game-high 11 rebounds.

Tamia Taylor added eight points and eight rebounds.

The Bears shot 22-of-66 from the field, 8-of-24 from deep, and 9-of-14 at the line. Mott forced 25 Alpena turnovers.
