Balius, Schultz Lead Mott Baseball MCCAA Awards
FLINT - The Michigan Community College Athletic Association announced the 2024 MCCAA baseball awards on Tuesday with several Mott Community College student-athletes earning honors.
Two Bears were named to the All-MCCAA Baseball Team and the MCCAA Eastern Conference First Team, including Gavin Balius and Quinn Schultz. Balius played in 45 games for the Bears. He averaged .454 with 74 hits, 53 runs scored, 33 stolen bases, and 34 RBIs. Schultz averaged .340, with 51 hits, 11 doubles, six triples, eight home runs, 45 RBIs, and 37 runs scored.
The MCCAA Eastern Conference Second Team includes two Bears, William Case and Max Charlton, while Benjamin Korson, Cameron Schuster, Michael Jockwig, and Cole Schmidt were named Eastern Conference Honorable Mentions.
