McDonald takes MCCAA Player of the Week
FLINT - Nathan McDonald has been named the latest MCCAA Eastern Conference Baseball Player of the Week for Mott Community College after a strong performance last week for the Bears.
McDonald was 11-for-19 for a .579 batting average. He finished with three doubles, a triple, seven RBIs, five walks, and six steals.
The Bears are in the thick of a conference title race, sitting one game back in the standings with four to play. Mott opens a series against Schoolcraft College with a doubleheader at 2 pm on Thursday in Livonia, Mich.
Mott is 22-19 overall and 14-7 in the MCCAA. The Bears split a pair of non-conference games against Muskegon Community College on Tuesday.
