Mims scores 21 in win over RCU
FLINT - The Mott Community College men's basketball team returned to Ballenger Fieldhouse to host Rochester Christian University on Friday night.
The Bears closed the first half on an 11-1 run to take control and Mott pulled away in the second half for a 67-47 victory to move to 4-1 overall this season.
Highlights for Mott:

Justin Mims led the Bears with 21 points on 10-of-14 shooting, adding four steals.

Kevin Tiggs Jr. added 10 points and nine rebounds.

Kylen Clark had 10 points, including a pair of 3-pointers.

Kimari Barden finished with eight rebounds, four blocks, and two steals.

Miles Beard and Keyonta Menifield each added seven points.

The Bears shot 28-of-68 from the field, 5-of-17 from deep, and 6-of-8 at the line. Mott outrebounded RCU 44-33.
