FLINT - The Mott Community College men's basketball team hosted Henry Ford College for an MCCAA Eastern Conference matchup on Saturday at the Ballenger Fieldhouse.
The Bears scored the first nine points of the game, but the Hawks answered and eventually led by six at the break. HFC pulled away early in the second half and held off a late Mott rally to escape with an 85-74 win. The loss drops Mott to 14-7 overall and 3-4 in the MCCAA.

Kevin Tiggs Jr. scored 17 points and added eight rebounds.

Teon Armstrong also finished with 17 points and had a team-high six assists.

Kimari Barden added 14 points, eight rebounds, and two blocks.

Kylen Clark recorded nine points, eight rebounds, and four assists.

The Bears shot 26-of-65 from the field, 6-of-23 from deep, and 16-of-24 at the line.
