FLINT - The Mott Community College men's basketball team played its third consecutive home game, hosting Schoolcraft College on Saturday at the Ballenger Fieldhouse.
The Bears struggled from the floor in the second half in a close game and the Ocelots held on late to escape with the 66-61 win. The loss drops the Bears to 15-8 overall and 4-5 in the MCCAA Eastern Conference with five games left in the regular season.
Mott Highlights:

Kevin Tiggs Jr. led the Bears with 18 points and seven rebounds, both team-highs.

Kylen Clark added 14 points, and was 6-of-6 at the free-throw line.

Myles Beard came off the bench to score 12 points.

Justin Mims chipped in with six rebounds, while Andre Ridley added five rebounds and a team-high three steals.

The Bears shot 20-of-50 from the field, 5-of-19 from deep, and a near perfect 16-of-17 from the line.
