Bears claim Eastern Conference Championship

PORT HURON, Mich. - The Mott Community College men's golf team clinched the MCCAA Eastern Conference championship with a second-place finish at the St. Clair County Community College Invite on Friday at the Port Huron Golf Club. 

The Bears shot a 310 and took second out of nine teams led by a Medalist Kyle Barbour with a 73.

Barbour was joined by Tyler Gist, AJ Liguori, and Aron Jennings on the All-Conference Team, while Liguori, Jennings, and Logan Holbrook earned All-Freshman Team honors. 

The Eastern Conference Championship is the fourth straight and 15th overall for Mott.
