Bio
Coach Elston became the Head Men’s Cross Country Coach in 2023, after serving one year as the assistant coach of the program.
In high school, he competed as a multi-sport athlete for Durand earning academic all-state.
Elston continued his academics and athletics at Mott Community College. At Mott, he wrestled and ran cross country earning Academic All-American honors. Wishing to continue his education and athletics, Elston transferred to Alma College where he ran cross country.
Post-collegiate, Elston coached wrestling, track, and cross country at LakeVille High School where he spent much of his time volunteering while attending college. While coaching at LakeVille Elston has coached two Academic All-State teams and several individual All-State performances.
