FLINT - The Mott Community College Softball team opened the MCCAA season with a doubleheader sweep of Schoolcraft College at home on Monday.
After the Bears held on for a 7-6 win in the opener, Mott's offense erupted for a 14-1 win in five innings in the finale. The sweep pushes Mott to 10-6 overall and 2-0 in the MCCAA.

Boehm tossed seven innings in the win, allowing six runs, four earned, on seven hits, walking four, and striking out six.
