FLINT, Mich. - The Mott Community College softball team split a pair of games against Schoolcraft College on Saturday at home.
The Ocelots held on for the 9-7 win in game one, while the Bears evened the series with a 10-6 victory in the finale. The split moved Mott to 25-9 overall and 17-3 in the MCCAA.
Game One Highlights:

Emma Benner recorded two hits, a triple, a home run, four RBIs, and a run scored.

Hannah Bollinger added two hits, an RBI and a run scored.

Heaven Helkowski added two hits.

Maggie Boehm took the loss on the mound, tossing 3.2 innings, allowing five runs on six hits, walking two and striking out three.

Megan Widner went 4-for-4 with a double, and two RBIs.

Claire Ouellette added three hits and two runs scored.

Bollinger hit a home run, her third of the season.

Taryn Murphy added two hits, including a double and two RBIs.

Joey Newton got the win, tossing three innings, allowing five runs, four earned on three hits.

Boehm earned the save with four innings, allowing one unearned run on six hits, and striking out six.
