Ouellette powers to Player of the Week Award

FLINT, Mich. - The Mott Community College softball team went 7-1 last week, taking control of the MCCAA Eastern Conference. 

The Bears scored 70 runs in their eight games last week, led by Claire Ouellette, the latest MCCAA Eastern Player of the Week, it was announced on Tuesday. 

Last week, Ouellette played in all eight games, batting .429 with 12 hits, including three home runs. She recorded 11 RBIs, four walks, eight runs scored, and was struck out just once. On the season, Ouellette is batting .459 with 50 hits, 10 home runs, eight doubles, and a team-high 49 RBIs. 

The Bears return to action against Henry Ford College at 3 pm on Friday at home.
