McGarvie named MCCAA Player of the Week

FLINT - For the first time this season, Keira McGarvie has been named the MCCAA Eastern Conference Softball Player of the Week after leading Mott Community College in Florida last week. 

In six games last week, the Kingston, Mich., native hit .563  with nine hits in 16 at-bats. She recorded two doubles, a home run, four RBIs, four runs, and two stolen bases. 

The Bears completed their spring trip on Thursday with a record of 7-4 and will return home to take on Lansing Community College in a doubleheader on Tuesday at the Mott Softball Diamond in Flint.
