Three HRs power Mott to 30th victory
MARYSVILLE, Mich. - The Mott Community College softball team resumed a postponed game against St. Clair County Community College on Tuesday in Marysville, Mich.
The Bears blasted three home runs and cruised to their 30th win of the season 8-1. The victory moved Mott to 30-7 overall and 21-1 in the MCCAA Eastern Conference.

Keira McGarvie went 3-for-3 with a home run, three RBIs, a steal, and two runs scored.

Josie Spencer added three hits, including a home run. She finished with two RBIs and a run scored.

Eva Opper added a home run and two RBIs.

Heaven Helkowski stole three bases and ranks 11th in the nation with 38 this season.

Maggie Boehm (16-4) pitched all seven innings, allowing one run on four hits, no walks and struck out 10.

The Bears return home to host Henry Ford College at 3 pm on Thursday in Flint. The doubleheader was originally scheduled for Friday, but was moved due to expected weather conditions.
