Mott Captures MCCAA/Region XII Postseason Awards
FLINT - Mott Community College softball was honored with numerous postseason awards as the team is preparing for the NJCAA DII World Series next week.
The MCCAA/Region XII announced its postseason honors this week, with several Bears taking home top honors. The honors were highlighted by Arika Hines being named the MCCAA Eastern Conference Player and Freshman of the Year.
In addition to Hines, Maggie Boehm, Heaven Helkowski, Keira McGarvie, and Emma Benner were named to the All-MCCAA Team, while Terry Warner earned District and Eastern Conference Coach of the Year accolades.
