Bio
Terry Warner before taking the helm of the Mott Softball Program in July of 2022, he served as an Assistant Coach for four years, in which two of those he was the Head Assistant Coach.
Coach Warner has coached for over 30 years in both softball and basketball, including varsity softball at Lakeville schools from 2000 to 2002. In those three season, he amassed 75 wins against 32 losses. He won a league championship by going undefeated (18-0) and (35-4) overall and ranked in the top ten in the state of Michigan. His Lakeville teams also won two consecutive district championships with two of his players receiving All State recognition.
In addition, Coach Warner has coached several travel softball organizations, including the Firestix, Compuware and Lookouts. He also coached the 16U Adrenaline team along with being president of the entire Adrenaline softball organization.Several of his players went on to play softball at the college level, including two Big Ten players, Niki Wald (Michigan) and Ellie Cowger (Minnesota).
Terry has been married to his wife, Gene, for 33 years. They have two daughters: Megan who played softball for Mott Community College and Mallory who played at Aquinas College. Terry and Gene also have two grandchildren, Brooklyn and Hunter.
