FLINT - The Mott Community College women's basketball team hosted its final home game of the season against Oakland Community College on Sophomore Day on Saturday at the Ballenger Fieldhouse.
The Bears fell to the Owls 95-68, dropping to 12-15 overall and 2-11 in the MCCAA Eastern Conference.
Mott honored its lone sophomore March'ae Alexander-Nelson in a postgame ceremony. Alexander-Nelson finished with one rebound and three assists in her final game at Ballenger.
Mott Highlights:

Chloe Thompson led the Bears with 16 points and 13 rebounds.

Ali Anderson also finished with a double-double, recording 16 points and 11 rebounds.

Kyndall Dotson added 12 points and four rebounds.

Alannah Liggins finished with eight points and 12 rebounds off the bench.

Tamia Taylor had nine points and six rebounds, while Ann Prevost recorded seven points, seven rebounds, and a team-high six assists.

The Bears shot 29-of-88 from the field, 2-of-13 from deep, and 8-of-15 at the line.
NOTE: OCC's Lizzy Liedel scored 36 points and added 12 rebounds to lead the Owls.
