Johnston Qualifies for Nationals at NJCAA Districts

OSWEGO, Ill. - The Mott Community College women's golf team returned to action in the NJCAA DII District Championship on Sunday and Monday at the Fox Bend Golf Course in Oswego, Ill. 

The Bears finished in fourth place with a combined +253, narrowly missing out on qualification for the NJCAA National Championships. 

Sophomore Kamryn Johnston qualified individually for the second straight year finishing third on the individual leaderboard. She carded a +27 in the two-round event. Johnston will compete at the NJCAA DII Championships May 13-15 at the Cedar Pointe Golf Course in Boone, Iowa.
