Johnston named All-American, finishes second at NJCAA Nationals

BOONE, Iowa - After 72 holes, Mott Community College's Kamryn Johnston was tied atop the leaderboard at the 2025 NJCAA Division II Women's Golf National Championship in Boone, Iowa.

Johnston finished in second place after falling in the first playoff hole, earning All-American and All-Tournament honors. The Flint native shot a final round 78 for a three-day score of 309 for the Bears.

The finish is the best in program history for Mott women's golf. The national appearance was the second for Johnston, who finished 54th last season.
