Third straight MCCAA honor goes to Vanwinkle

FLINT - For the third consecutive week, Chloe Vanwinkle has been named the MCCAA Eastern Conference Offensive Player of the Week for the Mott Community College volleyball team, it was announced on Tuesday.
The freshman from Clio, Mich., led the Bears to a three-set win over Macomb Community College in the team's lone game last week. She finished with 17 kills, adding two service aces and seven digs.
For the season, Vanwinkle has 247 kills and is averaging 4.33 kills per set in conference play.
The Bears (19-4 overall, 8-0 MCCAA) have won 15 straight matches and return to action against Schoolcraft College at 7 pm on Wednesday in Livonia, Mich.
