Cross Country starts 2024 at Skippers Showcase

GOODELLS, Mich. - The Mott Community College cross country teams opened the 2024 season at the Skippers Cross Country Showcase hosted by St. Clair County Community College on Friday at Goodells County Park.

The Mott men started the season strong with a second place finish out of 16 teams with a score of 87. The women were seventh out of 12 teams with a score of 161. The host Skippers won the men's race (55), while Grand Rapids Community College took the women's race (60).

Mott Top Women's Finishers:

• Kaitlyn Hatfield - 24th - 22:58.00

• Stella Martin - 26th - 23:03.80

• Stellah Strauss - 29th - 23:24.40

• Grace Roy - 36th - 24:15.50
