Bears open MCCAA schedule with win at Macomb
WARREN, Mich. - The Mott Community College volleyball team opened the MCCAA Eastern Conference schedule with a four-set win on the road over Macomb Community College on Monday.
The Bears were led by the offense of Courtney Nye, who finished with a .571 hitting percentage. After dropping the opening set, Mott won three straight and cruised in the final set for a 22-25, 25-23, 25-22, 25-12 victory. The win moves Mott to 8-4 overall and 1-0 in the MCCAA.

Nye finished with 14 kills on 21 attempts. She added four total blocks.

Skylar Cramer continued her strong play at the setter position with 48 assists, 11 digs, and three service aces.

Ruby Earl recorded 12 kills, 11 digs, and three aces, while Princess Savage added 10 kills.

Chloe Vanwinkle finished with nine kills and nine digs.

Montgomery Rotter had a team-high 13 digs, while Chloe Wright and Brooklynn Wilcox added 11 and nine, respectively.

The Bears combined for a .201 hitting percentage.
